Aegon Team Tennis is a singles based team competition, which runs from April until June. Its aims to provide players from Under 8’s to Open Adults the opportunity to play regular league matches against other teams and clubs of similar standards within the same county.

Teams consist of four players, who play both a singles and doubles match, either at home or away.

Each age group has a designated Team Captain, who organises the fixtures, score sheets and any additional training prior to the matches.

Overall, the benefits of Team Tennis includes an enjoyable competitive atmosphere, a welcoming and friendly environment whereby family members show support at the fixtures, the chance for players to represent their clubs in singles Team Tennis, player development and also allows juniors to learn key skills such as teamwork and respect
